Winterfest
Winterfest is Tulsa’s premier holiday event located in downtown Tulsa. For over 40 years, the park has transformed into a winter wonderland perfect for enjoying the magic of the holidays. Ice skate on the outdoor rink at the BOK Center, go for a spin on the Winterfest Express train, and don’t miss the nightly shows at Guthrie Green. Tulsa Christmas Parade
One of the highlights of the holidays in Tulsa is the annual Christmas Parade downtown. This tradition began in 1925 and continues today as one of the largest holiday parades in the region. Bundle up and line Downtown Tulsa’s streets to watch festive floats, local high school marching bands, dance teams, and more march by. And keep an eye out for Santa bringing up the rear in his sleigh! The 2022 Tulsa Christmas Parade takes place on December 3rd at 10 am. The parade route runs along Boulder Ave between 3rd and 7th Streets downtown. Take a guided tour and learn about the mansion’s history and the origins of their many Christmas customs and decorations. Tours are available Wednesday through Sunday from November 23rd to December 30th. Tickets are $15 for adults and $5 for children. Timed entry slots must be booked online in advance. Enchanted Forest of Lights
One of the best ways to get into the holiday spirit is by driving through the magical Enchanted Forest of Lights. This Tulsa tradition features holiday scenes, tunnels of light, and animated displays set to music you can tune into from your car radio. The Enchanted Forest of Lights runs nightly from November 18th through January 1st from 6 pm to 10 pm, with extended hours until 11 pm on Fridays and Saturdays. Christmas in the Park is open nightly from November 23rd through December 31st from 6 pm to 10 pm. Tickets are $25 per vehicle Sunday through Thursday and $30 per vehicle on weekends and holidays. Celebration Station Ice Rink
If you’re looking to lace up some skates this holiday season, head to Celebration Station’s indoor ice rink. Their NHL regulation-sized rink offers public skating sessions throughout the week and on weekends. It’s kept nice and cool at a frosty 60 degrees inside, so you can stay warm while you skate. Celebration Station also offers skating lessons, hockey leagues, and skate rentals. Public skate sessions are available daily for $12 per person including skate rental.
